Pros
1. Negatives are timeless once developed
2. Print photography while being a dying art is always present because you can always develop and print your negatives
3. You get a true appreciation for checking all your settings before taking your shot
4. Manual rig is now cheaper than digital
5. Not a point and shoot so you need to manage your shots

Cons
1. Places that will develop your film are dying off
2. Film is expensive in the long run
3. Not an easily transferable medium
4. You are limited to an amount of shots per roll
5. Developing chemicals for color film can be harmful

Digital
Pros
1. Unlimited amount of shots
2. Can edit after the fact if settings were off
3. Grants the ability to point and shoot not considering settings
4. No longer do you need to account for light and aperture
5. Auto focus gives you the ability for most shots to be in focus

Cons
1. Does not teach you what to look for to frame your shot
2. You don't account for settings which will hurt your photographic eye in the long run
3. Hard to transfer if one has older software
4. Large file sizes may not accommodate older drives
5. If a chip is corrupt you lose your pictures
Depth of field: The distance between the nearest and farthest object in a scene that appear acceptably sharp in an image.
Motion Blur: This is the apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image or a sequence of images such as a movie or animation. It results when the image being recorded changes during the recording of a single exposure, either due to rapid movement or long exposure.

Daguerreotype: A photograph taken by an early photographic process employing an iodine-sensitized silvered plate and mercury vapor.
